A whale back to sea after being caught in a web

. A whale of the species' Yubarta 'and seven meters in length came to the beach last night Doñana, close to Torre Carboneras, after enmallada to stay in a fishing net. There he stayed until about three in the afternoon when the intense work of a dozen troops were able to return to the sea.

The animal remained nearly eight hours at the beach and to prevent drowned was created around him a kind of pool (for which it took two excavators), in which troops of the Donana Biological Station, as well as the Enterprise Environmental Management (Egmasa) and the Guardia Civil managed to keep hydrated. He had to wait for the tide to rise again to their own inertia and the thrust of the troops returned freedom to the whale in its own habitat.

The director of the Natural area of Donana, Juan Carlos Rubio, who followed closely the rescue efforts, he hoped that there would have been lucky and the whale does not have internal injuries, since it is an animal "immature", despite the fact that stressed that at any moment put his hand, "finned to work and go to sea. It was totally aware that he was helping," he said.

The technicians were surprised with the arrival of the 'Yubarta'. First because it is an animal that normally travel in groups, and secondly, because it is a species that is unusual, but peculiar. In fact, is the first of which is a record that has stranded on the beach in Atlantic Doñana in the past three years, since I did a copy of Roncal in 2005.

Although it has not been able to define the age of the animal could not exceed two years, as it is at this age when they often reach 9 feet long.

The 'Yubart'a or humpback is a protected species since 1967 and it is estimated that today there are fewer than 10,000 copies that can reach a length of up to 17 meters.
