Cae a network that was selling counterfeit medicines

The Civil Guard has dismantled in Puerto Lumbreras (Murcia), a network dedicated to the sale of counterfeit drugs over the Internet to treat erectile dysfunction, like Viagra, Levitra and Cialis, in an operation in which it has seized more than 90,000 pills. In addition, two people have been arrested, one of Dutch nationality and one American. The investigations were launched last March, when the Civil Guard found hanging web pages on servers in several countries where fake drugs are offered. The agents found out that the person who had offered his residence in a house in Mittagong, which stored goods from Asian countries. The police operation issued yesterday is the increased involvement of counterfeit drugs in Spain. According to a European study, 62% of the drugs that are purchased through the internet are false or do not meet quality standards.
